The Outreach & Education Team
The Essex Sexual Health Service Education, Outreach and Health Promotion Team provide a number of services within the local community aimed at preventing poor sexual health outcomes for the residents of Essex.
Complementing the services provided within local ESHS Sexual Health clinics our team deliver Relationships and Sexual Health Education (RSHE) within schools and colleges, engaging with people at community events and offering Sexual Health testing opportunities within community spaces, our team are able to provide advice and support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Our Services
Community clinics
Our Rapid Testing clinics run in addition to other sexual health clinics provided by the Essex Sexual Health Service. Across the county we provide weekly or monthly testing opportunities for the following:
- Testing for HIV
- Testing for Syphilis
- Testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea
- Sexual health information and advice
